Cats Report

I am learning to write a report.

This animal report is about cats. In this report, I will discuss the habitat, diet, interesting facts, and human impact on cats.
HABITAT
Cats have small, sensitive ears and beautiful whiskers. For example, a tabby’s fur is striped with black, brown, and light brown. They sometimes live as pets in houses or in the wild—wherever they can get food. They live in New Zealand.
DIET
Cats eat fish, chicken, and cat biscuits. They are carnivores.
FACTS
Cats have amazing night vision and can jump six times their body length! Cats’ noses have a unique print. Cats can sleep for up to 16 hours a day. They can live up to 12–18 years. Cats can also make over 100 different sounds. A group of kittens is called a litter.
HUMAN IMPACT
When people don’t look after their cats, they become feral, which is a big problem. Feral cats start to kill native birds, so they have a big impact on New Zealand’s wildlife.
CONCLUSION
This report was about cats. It included information about their habitat, diet, interesting facts, and the human impact on cats. Cats affect native bird populations, so by taking care of your cat, you help protect wildlife and keep New Zealand’s native birds safe.

 

Waitohu School

This is my report about Waitohu School. In this I am learning to write a report.

Actual learning: Fixing spelling, punctuation, capital letters.

Waitohu School is a primary school in Ōtaki. We go from Year 1 to Year 6. The motto is To Be Our Best—valuing and nurturing individuals to be themselves. 💕

There are 12 classes with quality teachers, great relievers, an amazing principal, Mr Curtis, and Ms Mat. There is great learning and education, with the Language of Learning words, the inspiration wall, and a big hall!

There is a wide range of sports: netball, soccer, basketball, rippa rugby, gutterboard, and tennis. People can bring roller skates, rollerblades, and scooters. You can wear your roller skates or blades, and you can ride your scooters. You can wear your roller skates or blades, and you can ride your scooters. You can bring bikes to school, but you’re not allowed to ride them on the track.

In the summer, there is swimming. Throughout the year, there is Kapa Haka, Artsplash, and Drama. At the end of the year, in November, it’s the Kapa Haka Festival.

There is a native bush, two playgrounds, swings—one small, three big—and one turtle swing, and a climbing tree.
